The slightest bit less superior and refined, or, alternatively (and he thought this much more likely), not in a public place. He knew his family, after all, and he knew that such acts were always on the tip of the tongue, so to speak. They might have been raised to be the epitome of refinement, but that didn't make them any less human (also so to speak) than anyone else.

Besides, half the fun in having a sister as young as she was pulling faces at one another when they thought no one was looking. He wasn't above it. Especially not now that he had a small son to make faces at as well. It was as though having Scorpius made him regress in age.

His ridiculous airs were wonderful.

"You should, you're right," Draco informed her lightly, nodding his agreement. "Your sister-in-law is quite well, and is curious about how your first year is going. I'm sure you'll be able to talk her ear off for hours, given that invitation." A tease, naturally, paired with a smirk shot down at her. It gave way to an eager, excited tone as he switched to the other member of his newfound immediate family: "And Scorpius is brilliant. Growing more and more by the day. I never believed it was true, that you blink and they're grown, particularly considering I watched you grow up, and it wasn't true. But it's true for him. He's already taking to broomsticks. It's going to be terrible, I can tell."

But the best kind of terrible, obviously.
